Debarshi Indra is a postdoctoral scholar at the Center for Sustainable Suburban Development at the University of California, Riverside. Debarshi Indra did his PhD from the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York, under the supervision of Dr Alex Anas. His research interests include urban economics, real estate economics, transportation economics, and applied econometrics. As a PhD candidate Dr Indra worked on the University of California Multi-campus Research Project Initiative (MRPI) "A virtual co-laboratory for policy analysis in the LA region". His data analysis was used in the calibration of the RELU-TRAN model to the greater Los-Angeles region. Presently he is working on econometric estimation of behavioral models of households and land developers that are employed in the RELU-TRAN model.
