Yizhen Gu is a Ph.D. student in the Department of City and Regional Planning, UC-Berkeley. His advisor is Prof. Elizabeth Deakin. From 2004 to 2009 he worked at the Beijing Municipal Institute of City Planning & Design. He obtained BA and BS degrees in 2001 from Renmin University of China and Tsinghua University, and the MA (2004) from Renmin University of China. His research interests include retail location choice, land use regulation, and transportation and land use modeling.
